Congresswoman Maxine Waters of California said in a tweet on Sunday that “The Prez is LYING about China To Protect Putin,” regarding the recent cyberattack.

Waters took to Twitter in a rant against the President, bemoaning what she feels was a missed opportunity to impeach him for “treason.”

On my 3/2017 pinned tweet one can see Manafort, Flynn, Stone, all of whom have been pardoned & more of them to come. They know the criminal & illegal relationship btw Trump & Putin! They’re part of it! We missed our opportunity to impeach him for treason. NY can make up for it!,” she said in the tweet.

The House approved articles of impeachment against Trump last December, however the Senate acquitted the president of the charges.

The congresswoman’s “NY” reference is concerning a slow-moving investigation in New York by prosecutors who are looking at whether the president had misled tax authorities in regard to his past business deals.

Waters also took aim at the president having suggested that China may be behind the recent cyberattack.

Take a look at my pinned tweet, 3/16/2017! I tweeted the faces of the Kremlin Klan! My tweets continue to reveal the dangers of Trump & his love of Putin! The Prez is LYING about China to protect Putin! Yes, Putin is responsible for the cyber attack,” she proclaimed in the tweet.

President Trump has suggested that China could be the culprit, but top U.S. officials, including Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Attorney General William Barr, have pointed fingers at Russia.

Trump had tweeted on Saturday: “The Cyber Hack is far greater in the Fake News Media than in actuality. I have been fully briefed and everything is well under control. Russia, Russia, Russia is the priority chant when anything happens because Lamestream is, for mostly financial reasons, petrified of discussing the possibility that it may be China (it may!).”

Nation States and large corporations have been scrambling to secure their network infrastructure following a severe cyberattack exposed last week.

Blame of the attack was immediately directed at Russia with mainstream media targeting the Kremlin within just an hour of the story breaking. However, there has been no evidence put forward.

Although major news outlets are touting that Russia is responsible with the same fervency they had in the “collusion” scandal following the 2016 election, some conservative corners have been eyeing China as a potential culprit.

China does appear to be a better suspect than Russia, outpacing the Kremlin in nearly all aspects including technologically, economically, influentially, and they have an observably greater desire to exert control over the American Government.

There is also burgeoning evidence that the CCP has maintained an active physical presence within positions of power in the U.S. government and corporations around the world. Certainly, the Peoples Republic of China should be considered a prime suspect.
