Emmet Sullivan, the federal judge who has refused to comply with Government motions to dismiss the trial against General Michael Flynn, appears to be ignoring a full pardon issued by President Donald Trump as he has now filed new orders in the case.

Sullivan has issued orders on Monday which will permit the filing of amicus briefs in the case.

Although the DOJ has long motioned for Sullivan to drop the case, the judge has continuously refused to comply. In August, Sullivan was ordered by the D.C. Court of Appeals to “proceed with appropriate dispatch” on the motion to dismiss.

Courthouse News reporter Megan Mineiro posted a copy of the docket containing Sullivan’s new orders online.
