VIDEO: Raffensperger’s Home Besieged – Georgia State House Next
Supports of President Donald Trump rallied outside Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger’s Atlanta home on Saturday.
Supports of President Donald Trump rallied outside Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger’s Atlanta home on Saturday.
The protest, which was aimed at Raffensperger’s handling of the elections in Georgia, consisted of hundreds of vehicles parading the streets in front of his home.
“Trucks flying Trump and ‘Stop the Steal’ flags drove up and down the street outside of Secretary Brad Raffensperger’s property, honking their horns as they passed by,” Fox 5 reported.
Ursula Christie, the event organizer told Fox 5 that she wanted Raffensperger to know “we are silent no more, and we want him to know that we are watching, and we are listening, and we are aware of the actions being taken.“
Another group is now planning more protests on Monday in response to Raffensperger having ordered the state’s Dominion voting machines to be wiped and reset.
Republican activist Mike Coudrey is calling for a full occupation of the Georgia State House on tomorrow, and additional protests at the Secretary of State’s house.
Although Raffensperger claims the decision was made so that the state can prepare for the Georgia senate runoff election, he is receiving intense criticism because a reset would wipe all votes recorded in the presidential and general election. The data is considered important evidence in current election legal challenges.
Georgia Judge Timothy C. Batten, Sr. had issued an order on Sunday to halt the wiping and software reset of Dominion voting machines, however he rescinded it and issued a new order permitting the destruction of the evidence.
