President Donald Trump has stated on Sunday that he will consider appointing a special prosecutor to probe allegations involving the election.

In an interview on Fox News’ Sunday Morning Futures, the president railed against opposition to allegations of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 election cycle. He said that “this should have never been allowed to happen, and you know, it’s an embarrassment to our country, all over the world they’re talking about it.

In response to Fox host Maria Bartiromo who asked whether someone should investigate his allegations, the President said that he “would consider a special prosecutor.” He also added that he would like to continue “investigating into what took place in the 2016 election.

We won the election easily. There’s no way Joe Biden got 80 million votes. I just said, there’s no way Joe Biden beat Barack Obama in the Black communities of various cities, and then he did very badly compared to Obama in other cities throughout the United States. There’s no way it happened.

This election was a fraud and it was a rigged election,” he declared.
